Prep for the Minor (2 courses total):

Philosophy 7 or 21
Philosophy 22 or 31

The Minor (6 courses total):

1 from each of three different groups:

Group I: History of Philosophy (Courses 101A-119)
Group II: Logic, Semantics, Philosophy of Science (Courses 124-137)

Group III: Ethics/Value Theory (Courses 150-166)
Group IV: Metaphysics and Epistemology (Courses 170-189)

Two additional Philosophy courses from any group.

One additional upper or lower division Philosophy course.

• Courses on the minor must be taken for a letter grade, P/NP grades are not accepted
• Declaring the minor is contingent upon completion of at least 12 units of Philosophy at UCLA with a grade of C or better. The overall GPA must be above a 2.0 as well.
• The minor can be added by petition in 329 Dodd with the Staff Advisor
