Current Research: I work at the intersection of Philosophy of Language and Philosophy of Science. In particular, I aim to apply insights from the philosophy of science to the study of linguistics. I am currently working on projects examining the function of models in linguistic investigation, the explanatory value of compositionality in linguistic theories and the hierarchies of explanation and ontology in linguistics.
